For larger venue installs, the Tensioned Large Cosmopolitan® Electrol® is a ceiling or wall mounted electric screen. A variety of finishes and veneer options are available.

The Tensioned Large Cosmopolitan Electrol is available in screens size from 144" wide up to 192" wide or a max diagonal 220" in 16:9 format.

The Tensioned Large Cosmopolitan is available in a wide range of front projection surface and also available in rear projection Da-Tex and Dual vision projection material.

Da-Lite Tensioned Large Cosmopolitan Electrol screens are available with the following projection materials.

Da-Mat - front projection surface

Da-Mat is a unity gain vinyl surface with a smoother surface than Matte White. It features a white surface for good color reproduction for environments with controllable ambient light. Gain 1.0 Half Angle 60 degrees

High Contrast Da-Mat - front projection surface

High Contrast Da-Mat® is a vinyl surface that features a dark gray base for deeper reproductions of black, which improves the perception of contrast. Best in environments with a high output projector and completely controlled ambient light. Seamless in any width up to 16' in height. Gain 0.8 Half Angle 45 degrees

Cinema Vision - front projection material

Cinema Vision is designed to provide a higher amount of brightness for lower output projectors. Its increased reflectivity enhances brightness in situations where a moderate level of ambient light is present.  Gain 1.3 Half Angle 45 degrees

High Contrast Cinema Vision - front projection material

High Contrast Cinema Vision features a gray base for deeper reproductions of black, which improves contrast, and an increased reflectivity to enhance brightness for moderate ambient light. Ideal for video images. Seamless in any width up to 16' in height.  Gain 1.1 Half Angle 50 degrees

Pearlescent - front projection material

Pearlescent offers a higher amount of reflectivity than Da-Mat, and is designed for use in applications where moderate viewing angles are required. This surface is a good choice when producing video images with a lower output projector or where there is a high amount of ambient light present. Seamless in any width up to 16' in height.  Gain 1.5 Half Angle 40 degrees

Da-Tex - rear projection material

Da-Tex is a vinyl, gray, rear projection surface that works well in high ambient light with a reduced viewing angle. It offers high transmission and low reflective values for optimal viewing. It yields excellent color rendition and image contrast. Seamless in any width up to 16' in height. Gain 1.3 Half Angle 30 degrees

Dual Vision projection material

Dual Vision is a flexible vinyl surface ideal for rear projection, but capable of both front and rear projection. Dual Vision is ideal for video projection under controlled ambient light conditions. With an exceptionally wide viewing cone and light gray tint, a sharp image with no color shift is observed regardless of location in the room. Seamless in any width up to 16' in height. Gain 0.9 Half Angle 65 degrees
